I have shared about my heartaches and my trials, I have shared about my greatest losses, and my biggest blessings. I have written about my trust issues, and what God has been teaching me, but I feel like I haven't let you in on who I REALLY am.
I know what you're thinking... "Oh my word, what now? Is she a witch or something?" But my friends, today you're in for a treat! You'll be glad I came clean about who I really am.
(If you listened to the radio interview last week on the Living Well radio show, you might know where this is headed.)

I know that the Bible is true and complete, but I have to be honest...I think I have one of those spiritual gifts that just didn't quite make the cut. I don't know if it seemed inappropriate at the time to write down the spiritual gift of "making people chuckle til thou shall soil thy undergarments..." But I think it's time you all found out the truth about me...
I'm super funny.
There... I said it!
I know you're probably like "Yeah, whatever. Your blogs are always really stuffy and serious..." But it's true. I really am funny.
If you know me in real life, you know this is true. (Unless you're a rare and strange creature and just somehow don't think that's true, then we know you can't be trusted.)
One of my favorite things in the whole wide world is laughter. There is pretty much nothing in this world I enjoy more than that. I mean yes, I love snuggling babies, and fountain Coke with lots of ice, but the sound of laughter is food for my soul.
I love to make people laugh. It's one of the things I live for! I feel like making people laugh is one of my unofficial spiritual gifts.
Some people have the spiritual gift of clipping coupons, or the spiritual gift of enjoying cardio. Other people have the spiritual gift of neatly folding fitted sheets or the spiritual gift of keeping up on the laundry, I have the spiritual gift of humor. God created me funny so I could spend my days making people laugh and enjoy doing so. I genuinely hope the mark I make on this world comes in the form of laughter. I hope when people think of me they think "she loves Jesus, and she's a hoot." (Just incase you didn't know, a hoot is someone that is funny. Not like, breathe out your nose loudly and maybe crack a smile kind of funny. But more like laugh until your tummy hurts and your bladder control is questionable kind of funny.)
One of my biggest challenges and greatest sources of joy is making people laugh. When I meet you, I promise I'm studying you, to figure out what it takes to make you laugh.
I LOVE IT! I truly love it!
This here, is one of my favorite pictures recently...and why is it my favorite? Because I'm making people laugh.
There are a few things I won't do to make people laugh. I mean, I won't say bad words or anything like that (I don't need to, I'm much too witty for that) and I'm not going to eat something nasty, because let's face it, my love is conditional... but if singing or acting ridiculous will make you laugh, I'm in!
I feel like there is far too much seriousness and sorrow in this world and the world would be such a better place if we just spent more time laughing. Sure, there are times for seriousness, but if I can bring a smile to your face and get even the smallest laughter to erupt from the depths of your soul, my mission in this world is complete!
“Then our mouth was filled with laughter, And our tongue with singing. Then they said among the nations, “The LORD has done great things for them.”
Psalms 126:2 NKJV
So there you have it friends. The real me is incredibly silly and here I am just trying to make you laugh from the finest seat in the house...
The downstairs toilet.
In His love,
Rosalynn
